About Nadia Tanner

Nadia has a lifelong passion for horses and the art of riding. She grew up in England and at the age of seven, began riding. Her early years were filled with riding horses that many people deemed too 'hard to handle' and she soon found a skill for training young and green horses. As she grew up, she rode with the Pony Club and went on to teach Pony Club herself. It's here that she found a love for show jumping and began to pursue the sport. In her twenties she worked with renowned trainers such as Olympian Tim Stockdale and Mia Korenika among others. Nadia had a great career in the UK with a small barn of her own, producing horses and riders up to 1.30m level before she came to America. Once here, she continued her education, riding for a local barn training hunters and jumpers of all levels and spent the next years learning the art of the hunter ride. She has continued to work with various clinicians and believes there is always something new to learn in the sport.

Nadia focuses her training on positivity, integrity and a real focus on what each individual horse and rider need to become successful at their goals. She has worked extensively with a sports psychologist over the last ten years and understands the need to have good mental training as well as physical training. To add to her knowledge, she trained as an equine chiropractor in England which enables her to ensure the best care for each and every horse. These skills are what make up the “Ethos” of the business.
